Shufford Dwight "Pickle" DeMoss of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 26, 1930 in Sheridan, the son of the late Shufford R. and Jeannie Taylor DeMoss. He was of the Baptist Faith, a member of a Typographical Union, was a member of Free and Accepted Masons, Lonoke Lodge # 51 and had retired from the Sheridan Fire Department. He graduated from Sheridan High School and was recognized with perfect attendance for all 12 years. He had also served in the United States Navy.

Mr. DeMoss died at his home March 18, 2007 at the age of 76.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lola White DeMoss who died December 13, 2006.

Graveside services with Masonic Rites will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Grapevine Cemetery with Bro. Rick Etheridge officiating.
Visitation 5-7 PM Tuesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
