William Stanley Choate of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 25, 1943 in Wynne, Arkansas, the son of the late Dallard and Beddie Vines Choate. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his sheetrock finishing business.

Stan died Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in Mount Ida, Arkansas at the age of 75.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Choate; sisters, Susan Baugh and Fredith Gower and a grandson, Cody Buss.

Survivors: wife and best friend of 37 years, Shirley-Mayfield Choate of Sheridan; son, Russell and wife Delaine Choate of Black Springs; daughter, Katie Buss of Memphis, Tennessee; sister, Sherry and husband Eddie Vance of Sheridan; grandchildren, Sara and Paul Stojanovic, Paige Buss, Tyler and Jill Choate; great grandchildren, Laiken Buss and River Stojanovic and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of his life will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the home of Eddie and Sherry Vance.
