Stanley Skodzenski, Jr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 30, 1938 at Franklin, Virginia, the son of the late Stanley Skodzenski, Sr. and Birdie Wood Skodzenski. He previously served in the United States Army.   In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, and loved horse racing.

Mr. Skodzenski died Monday, June 14, 2021 at McClellan V.A. Hospital in Little Rock, at the age of 82. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Laurie Skodzenski, grandson, Travis Harris, and brother, Donnie Skodzenski.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia Faye Stroup Skodzenski of Sheridan; daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Tommy Brooks of Sheridan, Jamie and Matthew LaCotts of Dewitt; sons, Jerry Harris and wife Crystal, Terry Harris, Troy Harris, all of Sheridan; sister, Rose Skodzenski of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Michael, Lindsey, Cami, T.J., Dylan, Paige, Rachael, Brenton, Bailee-Rae; 13 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of other family members and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 18, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Calvin Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Orion Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, 6:00-8:00 P.M.
