Steven R. Green of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 29, 1953 in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas, the son of the late Jesse Woodrow and Patty Lou Patton Green. He was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan and had served in the Arkansas National Guard.
Steve died Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab surrounded by his family, at the age of 63.

Steve enjoyed playing golf, watching NASCAR and the Razorbacks. His greatest passion was watching his grandchildren in all their activities and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Garner.

Survivors: wife; Deborah Craft Green; son, Wade Green; daughters, Stefannie and husband Daniel Pruitt, Bridgett and husband Brian Holloway, Amanda Green and Eric Bowers all of Sheridan; brother, Jesse Green and wife Peggy of Shreveport, Louisiana, Mike Green and wife Sherry of Harrisburg; sisters, Pam Tedder of Jonesboro, Karen Spiegel of Harrisburg; 6 grandchildren, Austin Pruitt, Justin Pruitt, Madison Holloway, Braxton Green, Anna Green, Avery Bowers and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 15, 2016 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Shawn Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 -6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Austin Pruitt, Justin Pruitt, Daniel Pruitt, Brian Holloway, Eric Bowers, and Jeff Spiegel. Honorary pallbearers are Madison Holloway, Braxton Green, Anna Green and Avery Bowers.
