James Steven Koon of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 7, 1949 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas the son of the late James W. and Adrie Holiman Koon. He was baptized at First Baptist Church, a graduate of Sheridan High School and had retired in 1996.

Steve died at his home on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the age of 73.

Survivors: sister, Mary Koon Wise of Sheridan; niece, Carrie Smith; nephew, Michael Wise; great niece, Carly Smith; great nephews, Colton Smith, Kohen Wise.
