Steven L. Murphy, Jr. Of Sheridan ,Arkansas was born October 9, 1920 in Hope, Arkansas the son of the late Steven L. Murphy, Sr. and Esther Hart Murphy. Mr. Murphy died Friday, April 29, 2005 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 84. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Sheridan and was a retired Exxon distributor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Irvin Murphy; sisters, Sarah Hensley and Geraldine Trapp and a grandson, Matthew Murphy.

Graveside services will be 2:30 P.M. Sunday, May 1, 2005 in Lost Creek Cemetery at Sheridan with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Visitation: 5-7 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
