Sue Childers Green of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 25, 1939 in DeWitt, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Ambrose Frank and Nettie Ann McGraw Childers. She attended First United Methodist Church in Sheridan, and had been a Deputy Clerk for Grant County for over 17 years. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, quilting, and sewing. She followed her grandchildren in all their activities, and was a caretaker for all animals, including birds, cats, and dogs.

Ms. Green died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock at the age of 78.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie S. Green, Sr., and a sister, Frances Cottey.

Survivors: son, Sam Green and wife Judy ; daughters Dana Chaney and husband Joe, Denise Names and husband Kelly all of Sheridan; brothers, Harvey Childers and wife Trudy of Wichita, Kansas, Frank Childers of Sheridan; sisters, Louise Tower of Spokane, WA, Avis Yakel of Denver, CO, Jean Leopard of Ripley, MS, Glenda Howard of Post, TX; grandchildren, Eric (Serena) Green, Kellie (Jason) Cross, Jordan (Michael) Seavers, Brandon (Darleena) Names, Stephen (Ashley) Names, Charlie Names, and Andy (Corrine) Chaney; great grandchildren, Vivian Green, Jackson Cross, Jordan Cross, Katie Cross, Hunter Names, Hailey Names, MyKayla Brown-Names, Aubreigh Names, Casen Names; special friend, Tom Barnard, Sr. of Sheridan and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 30, 2018 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Rev. Todd-Paul Taulbee and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home 6-8 P.M.

Pallbearers are T.J. Lavelle, Jim Green, Shane Green, Brian Childers, Chuck Martin and Joe Scott. Honorary pallbearers are Marty Green, Tim Dudley, Eddie Lavelle, Sheriff Ray Vance and the Grant County Deputy's.
