S ue Helen Kauffman Hollinger, 87, of Sheridan, died January 15, 2025, at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehabilitation.  Born March 10, 1937, in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Helen Childers Kauffman and Dee Woody Kauffman.  Sue retired from International Paper in 1995 to become a full-time Grandma, chauffer, housekeeper, and chef for her family.  Sue was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan and the Chicot Trace Chapter of the DAR.

Survivors are her son & daughter-in-law, Doug and Kim Cunningham Hollinger of Sheridan, grandchildren Ashley (Dylan) Whitehead, Caleb (Taylor) Hollinger and Jacob Hollinger; sister Kalinda (Randy) Mooney and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, special caregivers, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hollinger, brother Harold  "Woody"  Kauffman, sister and brother-in-law Rachel and Joe Howard Williams and special friend Phillip Walters.  Funeral services will be at Sweet Home Church in Prattsville, Thursday, January 30, at 2:00,  with Bro. Don Goodman, Bro. Neal Hollinger and Bro. Shawn Hill officiating.  Burial will be at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville.  Visitation is 5:30-7:00 PM, Wednesday, January 29, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Randy Mooney, Lance Wallingsford, Casey Marsh, Parker Parish, Jeff Goodman, Jason Holiman, Scott Hollinger and Barry Hollinger.

The family would like to say a special thank you to all who helped care for Sue the last 16 years since her stroke, both in her home and at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab.
