Pamela Sue Vanhoozer Pierce of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 15, 1955 at Sheridan, the daughter of the late Robert Calvin Vanhoozer and Nadine Emberton Vanhoozer.  Sue had a strong faith in God and definitely had a servant's heart.  She was always busy doing anything she could to make someone's life better, whether they were family, a friend, or a complete stranger.  She adored her family and was the proudest grandma around.  She enjoyed working in her yard and gardening.

Mrs. Pierce died Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at her home, at the age of 67. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, R.C. Vanhoozer.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Pierce; son, Jason Pierce; daughter, Amanda Talbert; all of Sheridan; sisters, Jewel McCulley of Jerusalem, Connie Schoggin of Higden, Cendie Thomas of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Karen Miller of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Lyric, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Dixie, Zora, Aisling. She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and many friends.
