Carrie Sue Wingard of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 20, 1948 in Carthage, the daughter of the late Hughie Lee and Carrie Alberta Hardcastle West. She attended Sheridan First Assembly of God Church. She also enjoyed helping people and collecting dolls and stuffed animals.

Sue died at Jefferson Regional Medical Center at Pine Bluff on March 28, 2024 at the age of 75.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill and Pete West.

Survivors: daughter, Lorie (Wesley) Holland; sister, Ella Faye James; caregivers, Curtis and Debra Watson all of Rison; grandchildren, Christopher (Sabrina) Freeman, Timothy Holland; great grandchildren, Dante Freeman, Genevieve Freeman and on one the way and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 1, 2024 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Carthage. Visitation will also be at the cemetery from 10:00 until service time.
