Tammy Benton McClure of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 17, 1971 in Fordyce, Arkansas, the daughter of Annette Smith Benton and the late Walter Benton. She was a member of First Apostolic Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed going to church, reading and spending time with her family.

Tammy went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 46.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Benton, and her grandparents, John Thomas "J.T." Smith, Wilbur and Samantha Benton, Marie Benton and a nephew Phoenix Benton.

Survivors: sons, Jonathan Funderburg of Fayetteville and Austin McClure of Sheridan; brother, Clay Benton of Sheridan; mother, Annette Benton of Sheridan; grandmother Annie J. Smith of Sheridan; nephew, Kaeleb Benton and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel with Bro. Doug Scott and Bro. Steve Cypert officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until service time.

Pallbearers are Chris Griffith, Glynn Nooner, Collin Boatright, Bryce Boatright, Dustin Morrison, and Zack Adams.
