Tanya Paulette Walker Michael of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 8, 1961 in Little Rock, the daughter of the late W.D. and Betty Whitaker Walker. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and had formerly worked for the Sheridan School District. Tanya loved people and had a huge heart. She would help anyone who needed her.

Tanya died Thursday, February 18, 2016 at her home, at the age of 54. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Survivors include her daughter, Destiny Burden and wife Lori of Sherwood; sister, Janet Williams and husband Ralph of Sheridan; companion, Terry Harris of Sheridan; Uncles and Aunts, Dickey and Louise Whitaker; Rickey and Linda Whitaker; Kathleen and Joe Brewer, Romie Walker, and Doris Vailes; numerous cousins, friends, and her cats, "Sam-Sam" and "Little Love".


No services will be held and the family requests no flowers.
