Theda Nell Swilling Davis of Grapevine, Arkansas passed away peacefully on January 26, 2017 at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Her kindness and strength will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Theda was born on March 14, 1936 in Grapevine, Arkansas to Nellie and John Swilling. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Odie Hamilton, Hazel Sharp, Audrey Swilling, George Swilling, Era Wilson, James Swilling, Vernon Swilling, Venita Johnson, Bobbie Rhodes, and Joyce Moltz. She was also preceded in death by two children, Jeffrey Wayne Davis and Melissa Davis.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Obert Davis; son, Randy Davis (Tammy), her grandchildren, Randi Ashcraft (Jon) Amber Davis-Tanner (Mark), Martin Davis, and Zachary Davis, and her great grandchildren, Bailey Ashcraft, Jadyn Ashcraft, and Ethan Ashcraft. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 28 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Gardens in Sheridan, Arkansas with Bro. Don Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Grapevine Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Brian Davis, Glen Bradford, Jeff Hedden, Patrick Parrish, Mark Garner and Roy Harrington.
