Thelma Eugene Taylor Plunkett of Grapevine, Arkansas was born September 6, 1932 in Grapevine, the daughter of the late Ernest Allison and Burtice Ross Taylor. She was a member of Hedden Chapel Assembly of God Church in Grapevine where she served her Lord faithfully. She was the church secretary/treasurer for over 50 years. She enjoyed her dogs, sewing, quilting, raking her yard, and gardening.

Mrs. Plunkett died at her home on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the age of 90.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Plunkett, an infant son, James Earnest "Jimmy" Plunkett; siblings, Owen (Hilda) Taylor, Ruby (Truman) Davis, and Kathleen Funderburg.

Survivors: sons Ronnie (Karen) Plunkett, Randy (Millie) Plunkett; daughter, Denise Koon all of Grapevine: sister, Evelyn (Harold) Taylor of Grapevine; 12 grandchildren, Brooks Koon Chad (Dierna) Koon, Justin (Elyse)Koon, Mindy Jayo, Ross (Olivia) Plunkett, Donna Kaye (Josh) Burchfield, Mary Charrier, Braxton (Courtney)Hurst, Leah (Trey) Cruthis, Hunter (Destiny) Plunkett, Sydney Plunkett, Cash Plunkett; 21 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Hedden Chapel Assembly of God Church with Bro. Jimbo Manning and Jeff Hedden officiating, Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 until service time.

Pallbearers are Chad Koon, Justin Koon, Tony Puckett, Tony Fielding, Trey Cruthis, Hunter Plunkett, Ross Plunkett. Honorary pallbearer is Brooks Koon.
