Theta Frances Thomas Nelson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 24, 1922 in North Point, Arkansas the daughter of the late William Jennings and Besse Myers Thomas. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her late husband as well as working in her flower beds.

Mrs. Nelson died on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center at the age of 90.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Buddy" Evans Nelson, her son, William "Bill" Louis Nelson, and sisters, Dora Elma Thomas and Norma Thomas.

Survivors: Daughter-in-law, Karin Nelson of Sheridan;
Granddaughters, Francis Taylor and Marina Solano both of Sheridan; 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 22, 2012 at Salem Cemetery in East End. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:00 - 9:30 A.M. prior to the service on Monday.
