Obituary
Thomas Roland Barker, 52, of Leola, Arkansas passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.
"Barker" was born in Spokane, WA on January 13, 1965, the son of the late Roy and Lucy Reid Barker. He loved to hunt, fish, garden, cook, and drink cold beer. He worked in the local logging community for many years.
He is survived by his daughter, Baylie Tahrin Jones and her husband Jake of Arkadelphia; daughter, Makayla Handley of Springfield; grandchildren, Emery Gill and Jett Jones; sister, Kelly Christensen of Merced, CA; brother, Kirt Christensen of Merced, CA; girlfriend, Renee Willis and her daughter Brittney Everett both of Poyen and numerous friends whom he considered family.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Tom and Mack Gifford officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Forestry Association, c/o Log-a-Load, 1213 West 4th, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201.
