Thomas Anthony Funderburg of Sheridan was born April 15, 1955 in Pine Bluff, the son of the late Edison and Opal Mae Thompson Funderburg. He enjoyed mowing, gardening, fishing, hunting, and running the roads.

Anthony died Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Arkansas Heart  Hospital-Encore Medical Center in Benton at the age of 66.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Jerald Funderburg.

Survivors: loving companion and caregiver, Betty Burns of Sheridan; daughter, Lisa May Easter of Sheridan; brothers, Earney (Theresa) Funderburg of Sheridan, Gene (Cheri) Funderburg of Sheridan, Leon (Tammy) of Sheridan; sisters, Vera Grace of Sheridan, Peggy Goss (Johnny Kyzer) of Bryant, Judy (Gary) Sisk of Mena; 4 grandchildren, his cat Simon; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 20, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 until service time.

Pallbearers are Earney Funderburg, Leon Funderburg, Johnny Kyzer, Gary Sisk, Elijah Funderburg II, Gene Funderburg and Brandon Orr.

The family would like to thank his sister Peggy Goss and Johnny Kyzer for the love and care they provided him.
