Thomas D. "Tom" Hunter, Jr. of East End, was born April 11, 1943 at Memphis, Tennessee, the son of the late Thomas D. Hunter, Sr. and Lois Anita Bowers Hunter. He had served in the United States Air Force, was a retired Systems Analyst from the Employment Security Division and was a car enthusiast.

Mr. Hunter died Friday, January 3, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock after a courageous battle with kidney disease, at the age of 70.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Ann Kregel Hunter; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Kimberly Joy Hunter; and granddaughter, Bailey Nicole Hunter; all of East End; sisters and brothers-in-law, Anita and Tom Drinnen of Knoxville, Tennessee and Suzanne and Charles Floyd of Phoenix, Arizona; niece, Susan and husband Kevin Kehl of Searcy; nephew, Thomas and wife Rebecca Drinnen of Tennessee.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, January 6, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at Lorrance Drive Church of Christ in East End.
