Thomas Arthur Jobe of Malvern, Arkansas was born October 23, 1959 in Little Rock, the son of Florence Marie Wilbern Jobe and the late Sydney Jobe. He was a member of Poyen Missionary Baptist Church in Poyen, and a semiretired truck driver. He enjoyed cooking, watching the Razorbacks, watching old movies, listening to old music, looking at log cabins, and being outdoors, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. He never met a stranger and he was always willing to tell anyone he came in contact with about his Jesus.

Tom died as a result of a vehicle accident on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in Lonoke at the age of 63.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sydney Jobe and his grandparents, Arthur and Tulsa Wilbern.

Survivors: sons, Daniel (Brittney) Jobe of Malvern, Andrew (Jodi) Jobe of Malvern; daughter, Elizabeth (Kevin) Canterbury of Sheridan; mother, Florence Wilbern Jobe; brothers, Randy (Andrea) of Hensley, John (Kim) Jobe of Bryant; grandchildren, Kollan Canterbury, Konner Canterbury, Lilly Jobe, Kinley Jobe, Rhett Jobe, Kaleigh Coates, Ritter Jobe, Preston Jobe, Enzie Jobe; great grandson, Cooper Canterbury and a host of extended family members and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 2, 2023 at East Union Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Roberts and Bro. Kevin Spurlin officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church. Burial will be at Arkansas Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Jacksonville at 12:30 P.M. also on Saturday.

Pallbearers are Andy Willis, Randy Willis, Rick Brewer, Mike Brewer, Ronnie Halpaine and Brett Hovorka.
