Obituary

William Timothy "Tim" Camp of Prattsville, Arkansas was born August 9, 1963 at Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of the late William O. Camp, Jr. and Violet Camp Thompson.  He was a member of Bethany #1 Missionary Baptist Church at Grapevine.  Tim was a longtime member of the 240 Hunting Club. He didn't enjoy the hunting as much as he did the cooking and friendships.  He was an auctioneer with Circle C Auction Company in Sheridan. He had also been an auto mechanic since he was 17 years old, having owned and operated his own shop for a number of years.  He worked for Ashley's, building Entergy substations for several years.  He enjoyed drag racing and was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan.  Everyone knew Tim because Tim made sure he was a friend to everyone. As much as he cared about his friends, he genuinely loved and cherished his family.  They were truly the joy of his life.

Mr. Camp died Thursday, March 30, 2023 at his home, at the age of 59.  He was preceded in death by his father, William O. Camp, Jr.; biological mother, Violet Camp Thompson; son, Mark Camp; sister, Barbara Grant; mother-in-law, Ruby Doggett.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Sheila Camp of Prattsville; daughter, Mandy Camp-Clark of Sheridan; sons, Justin (Mandy) Camp of Poyen, Matt Camp of Sheridan; mother, Ann Watson Camp of Sheridan; brothers, Johnny (Toni) Camp of Cabot, Rick (Debi) Camp of Sheridan; sisters, Debbie (Mike) Monniere of Elk City, Idaho, Mystie Camp of Sheridan; grandchildren, Alison Clark, Kameran Massey, Makenlie Camp, Gregorey Clark, Mason Camp, Jaxon Camp, Beckett Camp, Abel Camp.
