Timothy Myron Dean of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 20, 1949 at Gould, Arkansas the son of the late Noah A. and Josephine G. Snyder Dean. He proudly served in the United States Navy, and was retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal as a security officer. He was a member of Maddox Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Tim liked to do anything, as long as it started, or ended, with fishing. He wasn't a complicated man at all and it didn't take a lot to make him happy: fishing, a cold Dr. Pepper, playing the quarter slot machines hoping to strike it rich, traveling, and most definitely, TALKING. Truth is, the only thing Tim liked to do more than to fish….was to talk. He never met a stranger, and whether he already knew you and had a nickname for you, or he met you in town and greeted you with "Welcome to Wally-World", you weren't going to see him and not get spoken to. He had a huge heart and was generous to a fault. He truly gave the last dollar in his pocket once, to help a stranger in need. He knew the Bible better than most preachers. He could quote countless Bible verses by memory. Tim and his larger than life personality will be missed, but he leaves behind a rich legacy of joy and laughter.
