Obituary

Cora Lee Earle "Toby" Glassco of Prattsville was born June 17, 1931 in Prattsville, the daughter of the late George W and Audry Lindsey Earle. She was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville and had attended Buie Baptist Church. Toby and her husband Bill were married in 1951 and for 71 years have been more than husband and wife, they were also best friends.  Where you saw one, the other was usually right alongside. They were Ham Radio operators (WA5PNS) since 1958. She enjoyed seeing the country in their RV traveling from Maine to California, and all points in-between.  One of the highlights of their travels was being camp hosts at Queen Wilhelmina State Park for 24 years, and making countless numbers of friends in the process.  For years they would travel to South Texas for the winter, where they also made many friends.  One in particular was a family of musicians, who would then, come to Arkansas and stay with them in their home.  Toby loved music herself, particularly old style country music.  She and Bill made years of memories together and dearly loved their lives together, and all the friends they made along the way.

Mrs. Glassco died Wednesday, February 15, 1923 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 91.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Earlene Lawrence and Madora Hollinger.
