Tola Cole Williams of Sheridan, Arkansas, was born April 28, 1927, in Prattsville, Arkansas, the son of the late Hugh and Minnie Alaina Stucky Williams. Tola proudly served in the United States Army and worked for Entergy (formerly AP&L) for over 35 years where he worked at Jones Mill as a shift supervisor. Tola was a faithful member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan and was always very involved in his church's no matter where he lived. Tola loved his family and he loved his Lord will all of his heart, his legacy of love lives on through his family, he will be dearly missed.
Tola went home to be with the Lord on August 18, 2026, at Arbor Oakes Healthcare and Rehab in Malvern at the age of 99.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Laverne Williams, his sisters Pearl Irene Mitchell, Serla Cockerham, Buris Auldridge, Geraldine Lovelady, and an infant son Michael Cole Williams. He is survived by his daughters Karen Adams of Hot Springs, AR, Kelley (Dan) Bost of Arkadelphia, AR, brothers Phillip Williams of El Paso, TX, Lonnie "Hollis" (Evelin) Williams, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville, AR, with Bro. Terry Williams officiating.
