Tommie Dean Gerety of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 22, 1934 in Leola, Arkansas the son of the late Michael Andrew and Tommie Ethel Wright Gerety. He attended First Baptist Church in Sheridan , was a 32nd Degree Mason in Pakistan, a Navy Veteran where he served as an Aviator Mechanic and was a retired Supervisor for Chicago Bridge and Iron.

Mr. Gerety died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 73.

Survivors: Spouse, Irvena Weaver Gerety of Sheridan;
Son, Barry Marshall and wife Celese of Maumelle;
Daughter, Kif Tiner and husband Greg of Monticello;
Brother, Michael Edward Gerety and wife Betty Faye of Pensacola, Florida;
Grandchildren, Greg, Sydney, Maddie, Kelly, Shelby and Heather

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Minister Jeff Spry officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time.
Memorials may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society.
