IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tommy Lee
Jackson
May 10, 1948 – June 24, 2025
Tommy Lee Jackson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 10, 1948, in Pine Bluff, AR the son of the late James and Wanda Littrell Asher. Tommy was a proud U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was a bronze star recipient and retired from the National Guard after 22 years of service. In his civilian life he was a talented welder and worked for the Arkansas State Highway Department. Tommy was a real outdoorsman who loved any chance he got to go hunting, fishing, camping and just being out in nature. He also enjoyed reading, gardening, picking berries as well as canning and making jams. He loved to drink coffee and everyday would have his "mud" straight black and it better be hot, cause if it wasn't his face would tell the story as he threw it away. Tommy loved his lord and was baptized at a young age in St. Helena, California and above all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren who he'd feed chocolate to any chance he could, with or without permission. Any chance he could spend with his family was a blessing; he leaves his lasting legacy with them and will be dearly missed.
Mr. Jackson passed away Tuesday June 24, 2025, peacefully at his home at the age of 77.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers in law Joe Hannan and Dale Blackwood.
