February 17, 1934 – March 1, 2025
Tommy Donald Riggan of Little Rock, Arkansas was born February 17, 1934, in Leola, Arkansas the son of the late Carl Dean and Odettie Orr Riggan. He was an active member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock, where he served the lord faithfully. Mr. Riggan served in the U.S. Army and was employed at Timex Watch Corporation in Little Rock until he retired. He also spent many years coaching his son and grandson at baseball, basketball and tee ball.
Mr. Riggan died Saturday March 1, 2025, at Evergreen Living Center in Alexander, Arkansas at the age of 91.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Lou Lemons Riggan, son Donald Riggan, brothers Randolph and Tony Riggan. He is survived by his son Michael Riggan of Alexander, daughter-in-law Kim Riggan of Little Rock, brother Ray Riggan (Rene) of Mountain View, sister-in-law Rhoda Riggan of Spicewood, TX, brother-in-law J.W. Cotton (Linda) of Sheridan, grandson Donald (DJ) Riggan Jr. (Chiquita) of Little Rock, greatgrandchildren Oliver and Harleen and a host of extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday March 8, 2025, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock with Bro. David Robinson officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. till service time also at the church. Burial will follow at Landmark Baptist Church Cemetary.
