Elva Juanita "Tootsie" Riggan Lawrence of Hiram Georgia, formerly of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 6, 1931 in Ivy, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Lewis Thomas and Elva Smoot Riggan. She was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan, AARP, Grant County Garden Club, Red Hat Society and American Legion Auxiliary.

Ms. Lawrence died Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the age of 87.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Lawrence, and her brothers, Jermis Riggan, Warren Riggan, Reece Riggan, Bobby Riggan

Survivors: sons, James L. Lawrence of Dallas, Georgia, Thomas W. Lawrence of Kennesaw, Georgia, Robert L. Lawrence of Hiram, Georgia; daughter, Sherrie Carpenter of Riverview, Michigan; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 until service time.

Pallbearers are Larry Carpenter, Don Nixon, Tom Lawrence, Robert Lawrence, Mike Belt and Glen Turner.
