Travis Kenneth Harris of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 10, 1940 in Glendale, Arkansas, the son of the late Travis and Katherine McRae Harris. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of Twin Lakes Deer Club in Glendale and had been a heavy equipment operator for many years.

Travis died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 74.

He was always "on the go". He enjoyed going to car shows and mud races, and riding his trike.

Survivors: caregiver and best friend, Jo Hopkins of Sheridan; son, Kenneth Harris of Pine Bluff; daughters, Mary Kaye Slay of Mississippi, Cheryl Cunningham of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Richard Harris of Glendale; sisters, Brenda Lutz and Mary Ann Cheney of Indiana; half-brother, Victor W. Edwards of Beebe; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, his special buddy and friend, Chance Hopkins of Sheridan.

A time of visitation with family and friends will be Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Jo's house, 710 Reynolds Drive, Sheridan.
