Troy Gene Gregory of Malvern, Arkansas was born September 22, 1939 in Sheridan, the son of the late Arland T. and Dortha Bennings Gregory. He was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan and a retired  from Entergy. He was a graduate of Prattsville High School and was president of his class in his 10 ^th , 11 ^th , and 12 ^th grade years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, deer hunting and horses.

Mr. Gregory died Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Malvern at the age of 83.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Craig Gregory, brother, Arland Gregory, Jr., and son-in-law, Gary Lumsden.

Survivors: wife and best friend of 64 years, Jeannie Gregory of Malvern; daughter Kim Gregory Lumsden of Little Rock; grandson, Chase Gregory of Batesville and a host of extended family members and friends.

Graveside service will be Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Philadelphia Cemetery with Bro. Shawn Hill and Bro. DeHaan Thornton officiating. Visitation will also be prior to the service at the cemetery from 9:30 until service time.

Pallbearers are Al Mangrum, Randy Mooney, Robert Earl Mooney, Dale Wilkinson, Doug Hollinger and Odus Fulmer. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Pumphrey and Franklin Pumphrey.
