Troy Gene Herron, age 85, of Sheridan, AR went home to the Lord on May 15, 2021.  He was the youngest child of Grace McDougal and Everett Herron.  He was born on June 1, 1935 in Pindall, AR.

In 1954, he married Bonnie McClung, of Sheridan, AR and was a devoted husband for 61 years.  He was thankful for his loving family and humbly and faithfully served his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Troy and Bonnie established Herron Concrete Products in 1972 and made many friends in their 30 years of business.

Troy is survived by 3 children: Sherry Herron McRae and husband Kenny, Jeanie Herron Williams and husband Mike, Scott Herron and wife Michelle; Grandchildren: Matt Graves and wife Leslie, Colin McRae Mitchell and husband Guy, Amanda Williams McMahan and husband Adam, Laura Herron Hilburn and husband Scott, Dylan Herron and wife Bryana; Great-Grandchildren: Madeline, Guy and Leslie Mitchell, Ella and Max Rollwagen, Phoebe and Pyper McMahan, Annaleigh and Aniston Hilburn; 1 sister, Florence Strickland of Harrison, AR and many nieces and nephews.

Troy is preceded in death by his loving wife, his parents, five brothers who were WWII and Korean War Veterans: Ernest, Will, Melburn (Chunk), Jack and Joe Herron; sisters: Lennie Keele, Patsy Housley, Marie Drewry; Nephews: Wilmeth and Billy Ed Herron, John Housley and Niece Betty Lewis.

A private family service will be held.
