Trula Ashley McGarity of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 19, 1918 in Belfast, Arkansas the daughter of the late Drew Edward and Versie Jane Appling Ashley. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and the Grant County Senior Citizens.

Mrs. McGarity died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Saline Memorial Hospice at the age of 93.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel McGarity, sisters, Mildred Whitaker and Joyce Sites and a granddaughter, Rene' Gartman.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A. M. Friday, September 9, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Vance Nutt and Bro. George Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. At the funeral home.
