Valora M. Trimble Dial of Leola, Arkansas was born April 20, 1909 in Upshur County, Texas, the daughter of the late John T. and Anne Mabel Hall Trimble. She was a member of Leola Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, yard work, crocheting, cooking and fishing.

Mrs. Dial died Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Hot Spring County Medical Center in Malvern at the age of 99. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Dial; son, Allen Dial; daughter, Kathleen Dial Hyde and son-in-law, James William Hyde.

Survivors include her half-brother, Wesley Trimble; Sons, J.D. Dial and wife Nancy of Springdale; Marvin Dial and wife Julia of Leola; 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and 2 great great granchildren "on the way".

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Leola Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Leola Cemetery. Visitation: Tuesday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Joe Keemon, Carlton Dorey, Robin Dorey, Dan Holland, Steve Southworth, Danny Dial and Mark Dial. Honorary Pallbearers: Dr. Bruce Burton, The staff of Hot Spring County Medical Center and also the staff of Arbor Oaks Nursing Home.
