Viola Lorene Hogue Wheetley of Little Rock, Arkansas was born January 23, 1939 in Winchester, Arkansas the daughter of the late Vance B. and Ida Mae Brown Hogue. She was a member of Bingham Road Baptist Church. Her greatest passions in her life were her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the lake, fishing and camping and cooking for her family and friends.

"Mawnie" as she was known by all who knew her, died Friday, May 18, 2012 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock at the age of 73.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debby Wheetley, brother, Fred Hogue and sisters, Florence Walton, Betty Lou Haisty and Imogene Hogue.

Sisters, Virginia Edington of Benton; Mary Gantt of Livingston, Tennessee; Olivia Kirkpatrick of Little Rock; Lucille Hogue of Livingston, Tennessee; Lynn Jones of Harrison; Rita Hogue of Conway;
Grandchildren, Jake Davenport, Lindsey Schamber, Ley and Beth Wheetley, Candace and G.J. Mayle, Landon and Robyn Reed, Chase and Bailey Wheetley, Mallory, Jonathan and Mackenzie Rash.
Great grandchildren, Grace and Graham Davenport, Olivia and Emma Cotton and Triton Schamber and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Bingham Road Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas with Bro. Bill Hilburn and Dr. Paul Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in Hensley. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jake Davenport, Ley Wheetley, G.J. Mayle, Chase Wheetley, Jonathan Rash and Landon Reed. Honorary pallbearer will be Lex Martinez.
