Violet Deloris Brinkman Nugent of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 14, 1938 in Union Church in Grand Bay, the daughter of the late Howard Daniel and Annie Mae Busby Brinkman. She was a member of Tree of Life Ministries Church in Sheridan. She loved pottery, crocheting, sewing, fishing and hunting.

Mrs. Nugent died Thursday, August 2, 2012 at her home at the age of 74.

Step-daughters, Janice Keene and husband Stephen of West Memphis, LA;
Sisters, Dorothy Mahathy of Moss Point, MS;
Rosie Brinkman of Moss Point, MS;
Betty Lou Brinkman of Moss Point, MS
Brother, Howard Brinkman;
12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 6, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scotty Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Palmyra Cemetery near Star City. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Steffan Draper, Bennie Sipes, Kelly Moore, Chris Strom, Brian Strom and David Brantley.
