Obituary

Vivian August "Nanny" Rubow Finley of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 9, 1920 at Sheridan, the daughter of the late A.H. "Lucky" and Ruby May Rubow. She was a member of Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School class, and was retired from West Bend. She loved spoiling her family and was "Nanny" to everyone who knew her.

Mrs. Finley died Monday, July 4, 2005 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.Z. Finley and her brothers and sisters, Rhoney Rubow, Euretha Emerson, Mary Faye Vaughan, Bud Rubow, and James Porter Rubow.

Survivors include: Daughter and Son-in-law: Annette and Charles Creech of Sheridan

Grandchildren: Lisa and D.J. Ray, Katy Ford, Amy and Mike Vaughan all of Sheridan, Alan Creech of Grapevine, Tracy Creech of Ohio: 9 Great Grandchildren

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 7, 2005 at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel at Sheridan with Bro. Dennis Holmes, Bro. Carter Pearce, Bro. Bruce Bennett, and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will be at the Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation: Wednesday, 5-8 P.M. Memorials to: Lost Creek Cemetery Association or the Grant County Museum.
