Walda Sue "Pinky" Sprankle Harrington of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 10, 1940 in Hartshorn, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Walter and Blanche Hatchel Sprankle. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in the Ico Community and was retired from Custom Trophies. She and her husband were very active in several antique tractor clubs, Central Arkansas Antique Machinery and Historical Society, Central Arkansas 2 Cylinder Club (John Deere), and Rusty Relics in Nashville, Arkansas. She was an avid sports fan, whether it be car racing, or football, she was known to scream at the TV. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, but her favorite activity was anything that had to do with spending time with her family. Pinky was a proud wife, mama, and Granny, and loved attending any activity that any of them were participating in.

Mrs. Harrington died Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 76. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Sprankle.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Larry Paul Harrington of Sheridan; sons, Paul Vernon "Pevine" Harrington of Sheridan, Jerry and wife Teresa Harrington of Alexander; daughter, Paula Harrington of Sheridan; sisters, Katie Whitmire and Nancy Wade, both of Sheridan; grandchildren, Tyler Witham, Ross Harrington, and Amber Farber; great grandchild, Hayden Spearman. She is also survived by numerous other family members and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Cain Nattin officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery (Ico Community). Visitation is Friday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
