Walter Vernon Berry of Redfield, Arkansas was born September 26, 1916 in England, Arkansas the son of the late Stanford Florance and Dora Alice Henry Berry. He was a member of Redfield Missionary Baptist Church, the American Legion and a World War II Army Veteran.

Mr. Berry died Monday, June 11, 2007 at Redfield at the age of 90.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Evelyn Stevens Berry; Son, Vernon Lywayne Berry; grandson, Alan Berry; brother, Woodrow Wilson Berry; Sisters, Minerva Easter Berry; Berda Magdalene Hemphill; Dora Ethel Pinion; Eula Marie Render; Melissia Kathleen Michael.

Survivors: Sons, Joseph Lee Berry and Bobby Charles Berry;
Daughters, Cathy Ann Berry and Wanda Charlene Berry Phillips all of Redfield;
Brother, Felix Alfa Berry;
Sisters, Mary Francine Hathcoat and Ida Belle Culp;
9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild;

Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Redfield Cemetery in Redfield with Bro. Wade Berry , Bro. Al Michael and Bro. Gene Murdock officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until service time at the pavilion.
