Walter Lee Morris of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 4, 1929 in Sheridan, Arkansas, the son of the late Benjamin Henry Morris and Julia Ann Tolbert Morris. He was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church, where he was baptized at the age of 15. He was a mechanic and enjoyed working on cars, hunting and fishing.

Mr. Morris died Monday, January 13, 2020 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 90.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Walls Morris and a son, John Morris.

Survivors: son, Lee (Lynn) Morris of Sheridan; daughter, Julie (James) Reynolds of Geneseo, IL; daughter-in-law, Karen Morris of Sheridan; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a host of friends.

Graveside service will be 10:00 am Monday, January 20, 2020 at Providence Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Edgar Porter, Tim Sirmans, Scott Davis and Linsey Shellnut.
