Cecil Wayne Sullivant of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 25, 1947 in Sheridan, the son of Rosalie Gregory Sullivant and the late Cecil Lawrence Sullivant. He was a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville and had retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Following his service in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, he was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart. Wayne's greatest joy was working on his cattle farm.
Wayne died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 61.

Chad (Carrie) Smith; Cecil (Mandy) Sullivant;
Great nephews, Chance Sullivant and Colton Smith;
Great nieces, Karis Sullivant, Katie Sullivant and Carly Smith;
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville with Bro. Brad Warren and Bro. Richard Sullivant officiating. Visitation: 5-7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne's nephews.
