Willene McElroy Harter of Sheridan, was born on April 6, 1920, in Grapevine, the daughter of the late Edward and Edna Barner McElroy.
She left to be with the Lord on January 24, 2010 at the age of 89.

She addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Cearley "Jack" Harter; her brothers, Buford, Cliff and Wilbur McElroy;
a grandson, Mickey Wilson; and granddaughter, Terry Lynn Wilson Pinson.
She was a former employee of West Bend in Sheridan and was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.

Daughter, Jackie Lou Wilson Ross and husband Jack, of Grapevine;

4 Grandchildren, Tammy Joe; Natasha Joe; Joe Kory; and Adam Lucas;

12 Great-Grandchildren, Sky; Brittney; Cody; Amber; Jeremy; Chase; Hunter; Zena; Samantha; Kaitlyn; Olivia Mae and Katelyn;

12 Great-great-grandchildren, Katellean; Riley; Kadince; Hunter; Nathan; Logan; Devon, Hannah; Haley; Rain and Raden;

Funeral will be Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home-Chapel with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening at the funeral home from 6 until 8 PM. Burial will be in Rhodes Cemetery near Sheridan. Family will be at the home of Jackie and Jack Ross, 296 Grant 21 in Grapevine, Arkansas.
