Obituary

William Ray "Bill" Clemons, 83, of Jefferson, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family. He was born November 7, 1942, in Camden, the son of the late Cleary and Mamie Cranford Clemons.

Bill was reared and received his early education in Bearden, graduating from Bearden High School.

Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After his service, he worked for Brown & Root, helping build W.A. Outside of work, Bill was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He served as president of the Hopeville Hunting Club for many years and enjoyed gardening and welding—skills that made him the person everyone could count on to fix anything that came his way. Above all, Bill was a devoted family man. He cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren, always eager to teach and pas s on the life lessons that will continue to live through them. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
