William Carroll Cook of Jonesboro, Arkansas formerly of Pine Bluff , was born December 13, 1937 at Pine Bluff, the son of the late William Howard and Melva Jewel Truhett Cook. He was a Baptist, enjoyed golfing and was a retired Skycap having worked for American Airlines for 30 years. His greatest love in life was his family.

Mr. Cook died Friday, January 18, 2008 at his residence in Jonesboro at the age of 70. In addtion to his parents, Mr. Cook was preceded in death by a son, David Cook and a sister, Lawanda Hobson.

Survivors include a son, Jeffrey Cook of Jonesboro and a daughter, Sherry Renee Cook of Ft. Worth, Texas; sister, Laverne Pitts of Whitehall; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2:30 PM Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in White Hall.
