William Eastwood of Grapevine, Arkansas was born October 8, 1931 at the Cedar Branch community, the son of the late Tom Eastwood and Ella Mae Moltz Eastwood Blocker. He was a graduate of Grapevine High School, served in the United States Army, was a member of Cedar Branch Baptist Church and was retired from Cotton Belt Railroad. Mr. Eastwood enjoyed fishing, woodworking and gardening and was formerly a Mason.
Mr. Eastwood died Monday, November 8, 2010 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center at Pine Bluff at the age of 79. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nelda Jo Goodman Eastwood and his brother, C.G. Eastwood.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Lowery Eastwood of Grapevine; Son, Raymond and wife Lisa Eastwood of Bigelow; Daughters, Gail Crabtrey of Grapevine, Theresa and husband Denny Buchanan of Grapevine, Ellen and husband Greg Jameson of Marianna; Step-children, Denise and husband Bill Moss of California and Stephen and wife Pam Lowery of California; Brother-in-law, Billy Taylor of Texarkana; Sisters, Rosie Jones of Texarkana, Shirley and husband Tony Morris of Sulphur Springs, Nancy and husband Chuck Skorcz of Sheridan; Sister-in-law, Martha Eastwood of Dewitt; Grandchildren: Lisa Stane, Julie Nutt, Shawn and Jessy Jameson, Casey and Tami Buchanan, Dustin and Zachary Eastwood; Great Grandchildren: Bailey Alston, Bradley and Ashley Stane, Landon and Lauren Nutt, Andrew and Riley Jameson; 5 Step-Grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. O.J. Ramick officiating. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery. Visitation: Wednesday, 5:00-8:00 P.M.
Pallbearers are Bruce Mullins, Keith Raymick, Butch Kelly, Olen Dale Vailes, Jack Ross and Vic Wallace. Honorary pallbearer will be Bill Goodman.
