William Roger Main, 46, died Tuesday night at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was a mechanic, a loving son, dad, and granddad and a son of God.

I've been remembering my baby boy and all I can see is happy times. I hear his laugh, and his silliness. He was almost always happy and willing to help anyone, anytime. He loved cars and working on them, seeing them run again. He was forever learning. His love encompassed all, especially kids. The only person I've ever known to grate on him, Leslie (Ness) was one he loved with all his heart. He also loved his dog, Mia. He had his problems and willingly got in with the wrong crowd but at the same time, knew God and was saved. How do you write an obit for a 46 year old boy like that? I'm confidante that his dad, Ellis Sr. welcomed him into heaven.

He leaves behind two sons, Brice (Carmen) Main and Landon Main; one grandson, Jackson; mother, Diane (Arthur) Main - Helmkamp; two brothers, Ellis Jr. "Pete" (Machelle) Main and Wayne (Rita) Main; and sister, Christy (Scott) Love.

He will be cremated and private services will be held at a later date.
