William Leonard "Bill" Reed, Sr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 27, 1942 at Clinton, Arkansas, the son of the late William Ed and Bessie Duncan Reed.   He was a Christian, and really enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Bill proudly served in the United States Navy for 23 years.  Much of that time, he served aboard the USS Kittyhawk, and also was a Vietnam Veteran.

Mr. Reed died Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at his home, at the age of 80.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Carolyn Williams Reed, and several siblings.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Linn and Cassandra Reed of Salem, Arkansas; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Dave Glein of Oak Harbor, Washington; fiancé Bette Pack of Clinton, Arkansas; brother, John "Bill" Reed of Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandchildren, Erica (Jeff) Bailey, David (Chelsi) Glein, Hadley Reed, Caleb Reed, Caroline Reed; great grandchildren, Allison, Jake, Gage, Hunter.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Raymond Derrick officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation is Monday, 6:00-8:00 P.M.
