Obituary

William Orbie Winston of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 17, 1920 in Star City, the son of the late William Brian and Vera Ellen Owen Winston. He was a member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church where he had served as a former Deacon, had served in the United States Navy during World War II, and had retired from Arkla Gas Company.

Mr. Winston died at his home Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the age of 86.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Audrey Winston and a grandson, Robert Scott Lemons.

Sons, Gerald and wife Connie Winston of Sheridan;
David and wife Yonnia Winston of Sheridan;
Daughters, Hywanna and husband Wallace Stuckey of Pine Bluff;
Suellen and husband Odis Waters of Sheridan;
Sisters, Virgie Bratton; Mattie MacGarrah: Arlene Winston, all of Sheridan;

10 Grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren

Funeral Services will be 10:00AM Friday, September 21, 2007 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Click officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday. Pallbearers: Jason Winston, Wayne Stuckey, Blake Worthen, Jessie Stinnett, Wade Hall, David Waters.
