Willie Mae Bird Mashburn of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 6, 1921 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late Franklin Robert and Cattie McCool Bird. She retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal and was a longtime member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. She was known around Sheridan as the flower lady and the doll lady.

Mrs. Mashburn died Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant at the age of 93.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edwin Mashburn, sister, Mary Lee Bird Winston and brother, Felix Bird.

She is survived by her nephews, Gerald Winston and David Winston both of Sheridan, Robert Lee Bird and Tommy Bird both of Prattsville; nieces, Hywanna Stuckey of Pine Bluff, Suellen Waters of Sheridan, Katheryn Lamb of Leola and Ann Hayden of Little Rock, 2 special nieces by marriage, Patsy Cingolani of McGhee and Norma Haralson of Jacksonville, her dog Becca, and 2 special friends, Joy Wilkerson and Crista Bruner, all who knew her as "Aunt Bill".

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Click officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 until service time.
