Wilma Jean Jones Plunkett of Grapevine, Arkansas was born November 22, 1922 in Neelyville, Missouri, the daughter of the late William and Sophia Calhoun Jones. She was a member of Ain Missionary Baptist Church in Grapevine. She enjoyed doing word searches, and watching the squirrels and birds at the feeders.

Ms. Plunkett died Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 97.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Selvin Plunkett; daughter, Betty Plunkett Taylor; sisters, Ruby Hester, Lena Mathis, Opal Runion and a brother, Glen Jones.

Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Shelda and Don Austin of Grapevine; 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Ain Cemetery in Grapevine with Bro. David Hiblong officiating. There will be no public visitation. Pallbearers are Perry Lynn Taylor, Scott Taylor, Jody Taylor, Jamie Taylor, David Heitz and Norris Culpepper.
