Zelda Ruth Tomberlin Crook of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 18, 1927 at Sheridan, the daughter of the late Sidney "Sid" and Etta Atchley Tomberlin. She was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired florist, having owned "The Blossom Shop" florist in Sheridan. Zelda volunteered as a 4H leader for years, was formerly a member of the Little Creek Home Demonstration club and enjoyed working in her yard.
Mrs. Crook died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at Conway Regional Medical Center at the age of 84. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. "Buddy" Crook, a brother, Guy Tomberlin and sisters, Mary Seymore and Eulabee Rhoden.

Brother-in law, Curtis and wife Nita Crook of Little Rock; Grandchildren, Michele and husband Ed Wix of Guy, Curt and wife Danna Crook of Conway, Melissa and husband Matt Haynes of Sheridan, Cody Crook of Sheridan; Great Grandchildren, Michael and Jacob Taylor of Guy, Joshua and Mackenzie Crook of Conway, Takota Crook and Bailey Haynes of Sheridan.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 29, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Robert Ewing and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Ed Wix, Curt Crook, Matt Haynes, Cody Crook, Michael Taylor and Owen Rhoden.
