Zella Whitmire Harris of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 28, 1943 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late Henry Franklin and Thelma Mae Edwards Whitmire. She was a member of Lone Pine Missionary Baptist Church at Hensley and a homemaker. She had previously worked as a Army Reserve recruiter for 8 years.

Mrs. Harris died Friday, December 3, 2004 at St. Joseph's Mercy Medical Center in Hot Springs at the age of 61.

Funeral Service will be Monday, December 6, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Ron Meredith officiating. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation: Sunday 4-6 PM at the funeral home.Pallbearers: Adam Smith, Carl Smith, Jeremy Holmes, Chris Whitmire, Franklin Whitmire, Marty Whitmire, Waylon Whitmire and Greg Whitmire.
